Oneworld Ltd and BDO Philippides Ltd
Oneworld Ltd and BDO Philippides Ltd deal with business and audit services respectively. Their head offices are located in a newly built 5-store building that currently accommodates more than 80 people.
A redundant Cisco Call Manager IP telephony solution has been implemented for the growing needs of the two organizations. Four receptionists answer the telephone lines of both companies as they are able to distinguish between the two lines of the companies.
Remote Voice communication has also been established on the notebooks of the company so that staff members working out of the office can have constant telephone access to the Internal Voice Network. Additionally, a peer to peer Video Call has been made available for certain users. Outlook calling out has also been implemented to enable users to make calls from their Outlook contact list.
Furthermore, a significant number of separate businesses are housed in the same building. Unique telephone numbers for Voice and Faxing have been allocated to each business room. Individualized billing has been put in place for the same reason.
Apart from the highly sophisticated telephony system that has been implemented, a strong data security network has been created for both companies. Specifically, separate active directory domains with Separate MS Exchange email servers with “trusts” between them that allow the Inter-Company exchange of data, have been created.
Cisco Vlans on Layer-3 and Layer-2 switches along with ASA-5510 firewalls fully protect the companies’ data from unauthorized access. VPN Client authentication mechanisms are in place for personnel working from home or have the need to access their information remotely.
Central Antivirus, Content Filtering and Mail Relaying systems from Trend Micro have been implemented in order to protect the companies’ data from malicious attacks, spam, or unauthorized access.
